In this school year, 2011-2012, 410 students will be attending Dominica School. From Pre-kinder through 12th grade - High School Seniors!!!! The students come for a FULL day of class - a new program in this country. Of the 410 students, we have approximately 190 Social Plan students - paying on a sliding scale from RD$0 to RD$200 per month - depending on the family poverty level. Some of these come as early as 7AM to prepare themselves & have breakfast before school starts. We try to feed a group of extremely needy students a lunch & afternoon meal but we always have a waiting list and never enough funds.

Dominica School Typical Class....... but there is nothing TYPICAL about ANY of these wonderful students.
